What is it ?

Taxi Driver Test is an Internet based taxi driver knowledge test designed to facilitate local councils in carrying out examinations of prospective drivers as part of their process in becoming licensed to drive taxis in their council area. It is a database which will hold any number of questions provided by a council who may then edit, alter or re-arrange questions and answers according to their needs.

As part of the standard service we provide 100 extra traffic sign and signal questions which may be added in full or in part whereby any number may be added to further enhance a councils examination.

How is it written ?

Taxi Driver Data uses proven, established and most importantly secure web technology to both post and retrieve data to a single database written using Microsoft SQL server. The details of candidates and their examinations are recorded enabling any such exams to be retrieved and viewed at a later date.

It safeguards the integrity of the examining council as each exams questions are randomly selected by the system during the examination negating any allegation of favouritism.

Who wrote it ?

Unlike most commercial software Taxi Driver Data has been designed and written by former Police staff with over 60 years of practical experience in traffic matters. In particular they are experienced in dealing with the issues of data retrieval and in presenting it to the user in a relevant and meaningful way.
